Detective Fargon and the Soul Snatchers

WARNING:
This game is unfinished only the first area of the town can be explored, this was a student project made in around a week. I am a programmer and I have interests in game mechanics but I tried to experiment with visuals for my project so there are some bugs in the game (known ones are listed below).
THE STORY:
Welcome to the mysterious town of which Detective Fargon resides!
For unknown reasons the town has recently become dangerous what used to be a safe place for families to move too, has become the dodgy alley of towns. There have been disappearances, murders and... monsters?? appearing everywhere! The worst part is that none of the Police depart seem to be doing anything about it, this all changes when Detective Fargon receives an interesting assignment to finally investigate the town. Something is off though, there are red flags everywhere but sitting here reading this isn't going to solve the case now is it?
Platform around the town searching for clues, talk to various interesting NPCs to get dirt from them and uncover the mystery behind this town's "Soul Snatchers"! Use the arrow keys or A and D to move left and right and the space bar or up arrow to jump. Press E when close to NPCs to interact and talk to them, open your menu to review your notes they WILL contain important information so review your latest note after ever encounter!

KNOWN BUGS:
- Running into walls makes the player freeze even when they are falling
- Animations sometimes bug out, usually jumping and rarely when moving
- If you return to the menu then continue playing you might be frozen (cursed Unity project)
These are the known bugs, if you discover any other ones please leave a comment and I will attempt to fix it.

I am not a musician so I downloaded music and sound effects to be used in the game. I DO NOT OWN THIS MUSIC.

This is a great game, despite having some bugs I think you can clearly tell you worked extremely hard on the game, the note system and also the art work, well done on the stylisation! It is AMAZING! All in all well done on creating an interesting and involving game :) (let me know if you want some music developed for it ;)) <3
